Simple Lime Squeeze

(so simple, so delicious -- a must)

Sandy’s Grandma’s Fabulous and Easy Apple Pie Filling

Peel and slice about 2 1/2 pounds of your favorite pie apples
about 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste and tartness of the apple.
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon flour
Mix together and set aside while making crust

Bottom Crust:
1 1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup Wesson oil
2 tablespoons milk
Mix together and pat into pie pan (no rolling required).

Top Crust:
3/4 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter (melted is easier)
Mix this together. Put the apples in the bottom crust and crumble this over the top.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour or until the apples test tender to your liking when
you poke the middle with a knife.
